International Children’s Book Day
Earth Hour

The Earth Hour is celebrated on the last Saturday of March every year. It is observed from 20:30 to 21:30 hour local time of each place. The day is observed in order to conserve energy and draw the world's attention to the cause of environmental degradation.

World Water Day

World Water Day is observed every year on 22nd March around the world. The day is observed to fetch attention to the need of conserving safe drinking water as well as looking for solutions to provide safe drinking water to people around the world. According to current estimates, there are still about 783 million people around the world who do not have access to safe drinking water.

Human Rights Day

We celebrate this day each year to remind us of the great suffering and loss of life that accompanied the struggle for human rights. It is to remind us that people in South Africa will never again be denied their human rights.
International Women's Day

International women's Day is celebrated globally every year on 8th March. Originally called the International Working Women's Day, it was first started as a political and socialist movement in 1909 in four European countries.
