Media Invite: SAHRC Mpumalanga Provincial office hosts media press engagement

In line with the South African Human Rights Commission (“the Commission”) 2017/18 Annual Performance Plan targets, the Mpumalanga Provincial Office (MPO) will be hosting a media press dialogue discussion under the theme: “Media Informs, Educates and Transforms the Public.”

The main purpose of the engagement is to inform the media, stakeholders as well as the public at large about the achievements of the Commission in the realm of both advocacy and legal units in the province during the 2017/18 financial year. Furthermore, to strategise on how to work collaboratively in order to build knowledgeable communities and allowing them to enjoy their right to access information enshrined in section 32 of the Constitution, 1996.

The dialogue is scheduled to take place as follows:
