Media Invite: SAHRC Mpumalanga Provincial Office hosts a dialogue on the rights of children with disabilities

The Mpumalanga Provincial Office of the South African Human Rights Commission (“the Commission”) will be hosting a dialogue on the rights of children with disabilities. The purpose of the dialogue is to lay a foundation for a long-term strategic and collaborative process aimed at improving the development, participation and protection of children with disabilities.

The dialogue targets relevant government departments, organisations dealing with children, Chapter 9 institutions and community based organisations. The dialogue also aims to identify sustainable strategies intended to build on existing efforts, and expand multi-sectoral approaches to guarantee protection of the rights of children with disabilities.
