Media Invite: SAHRC Mpumalanga Provincial Office to host Information Session on Basic Human Rights and the Constitution

On 13 – 15 November 2018, the South African Human Rights Commission (“the Commission”), Mpumalanga Provincial Office (MPO), will be hosting information sessions to amplify basic human rights awareness enshrined in “Chapter 2 of the Constitution – the Bill of Rights. The information sessions are centered under the theme “Know Your Rights and Responsibilities.

The information sessions are intended to equip rural communities with information on the role and mandate of the Commission, and the role and responsibilities of government in strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights.

The sessions are targeting community-based organizations and ordinary members of the public, and are scheduled to take place as follows:
