Media Advisory: The South African Human Rights Commission convenes the third and final sitting of the inquiry into the contamination of the Vaal River

The South African Human Rights Commission (the Commission) will convene the third and final session of the inquiry into allegations of approximately 150 megalitres of raw sewage spilling into the Vaal River daily.  
   
The Inquiry will hear the testimony of the Vaal River System Remediation Intervention Team, the Department of Defence (“DoD or SANDF”) and ArcelorMittal South Africa.

The Inquiry will take place as follows:
