Media Invite: SAHRC Free State Provincial Office to host a media stakeholder engagement

Attention: Editors and Reporters

27 February 2019

The SAHRC Free State Provincial Office will host a media stakeholder engagement on the 8th of March 2019 at 18 Kellner Street, Westdene, Bloemfontein.

The SAHRC recognises the media as an indispensable role player in promoting and instilling a human rights culture in South Africa. The media engagement hosted by SAHRC will therefore be aimed at strengthening working relations with the media, during this important period of Human Rights Month.

Additionally, this engagement will be an opportunity for the SAHRC Provincial Office to report back on its work, for the current financial year ending March 2019, in tackling human rights issues throughout the Free State Province. Important updates on key litigation, complaints, investigations, monitoring and other activities will be provided. The SAHRC will also outline the plans for the coming financial year.

All media outlets and representatives are invited to attend.
