Media Alert: The Impact of Corruption on Human Rights

The South African Human Rights Commission (the Commission) Gauteng Provincial Office in collaboration with the Constitution Hill will host a panel discussion on the theme “The Impact of Corruption on Human Rights”.

The objectives of the event are to understand the level, pervasiveness and form of corruption at local government level; to reflect on the negative effects of corruption on the protection of human rights; and to explore synergies and possibilities for cooperation between different sectors of society in the fight against corruption.
