Media Invite: SAHRC Free State Provincial Office to host a Human Rights day Celebration and Dialogue in Bloemfontein

The SAHRC Free State Provincial Office will host a Human Rights Day Celebration & Dialogue on the 21st of March 2019 at Sehunelo Secondary School, Batho Location, Bloemfontein.

Under the theme, ‘The State of Human Rights in the Free State Province’, the SAHRC Free State Provincial Office will be bringing together the community of Batho Location in Bloemfontein and various stakeholders to a dialogue about the varied and sometimes unique challenges facing the people of the Free State. It will further be an opportunity to inform the local community about their human rights and the various resources and institutions (such as the SAHRC) that are empowered to protect and promote their rights.

Participating stakeholders and guest speakers will include; The Department of Social Development, the Soul City Institute, Save the Children South Africa, and other community leaders as well as activists from the Free State Province.
