Media Alert: SAHRC Gauteng Provincial Official Media Engagement

The South African Human Rights Commission (the Commission) Gauteng Provincial Office will host a media engagement session. The purpose of this session is to develop strategic partnerships with the local community media and explore challenges facing the media in human rights reporting and coverage and the media’s role during human rights violations.

The engagement will also address the current events, the state of human rights in Gauteng and share updates on notable investigations, litigation matters and planned advocacy interventions.

The Commission extends an invitation to media outlets to participate in this important networking session as per details below.
