Media Alert: SAHRC Western Cape Provincial Office hosts media engagement

The South African Human Rights Commission (the Commission) Western Cape Provincial Office will host a media engagement session. The purpose of this session is to develop strategic partnerships with media outlets and explore challenges facing the media in human rights reporting and coverage and the media’s role during human rights violations.

Furthermore, the engagement will use the platform to address the media on current events, the state of human rights in the Western Cape and share updates on advocacy interventions, notable investigations and litigation matters.

The Commission extends an invitation to media outlets to participate in this important networking session as per details below.
