Media Advisory: South African Human Rights Commission to Conduct Public Outreach in Ekangala, Bronkhorstspruit

On 24 June 2019, the South African Human Rights Commission (“The Commission”) will conduct a public outreach engagement in Ekangala, Bronkhorstspruit.

The purpose of this engagement is to bring together a wide range of stakeholders with the objective to educate and sensitise communities about their rights and the institutions that these rights are vested in.

 The Commission also intends to visit Zusterstroom farm to look into the plight of farm dwellers who were recently evicted and had their homes demolished.

The engagement will take place as follows:
