The purpose of the Preliminary Inquiry will be to allow involved and interested parties an opportunity to present their concerns and views regarding this matter in order for the Commission to perform a full assessment thereof and decide on what steps, investigative or otherwise, to take going forward.

The Preliminary Inquiry Panel will receive oral submissions from the National Healthcare Professionals Association, Discovery, GEMS and Medscheme and medical aid members.

The Inquiry will take place as follows:
