Media Invite: SAHRC KwaZulu- Natal Provincial Office will conduct workshops in schools in Durban and Kwa-Nongoma

The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Office will conduct workshops with schools in Durban and Kwa-Nongoma.

The workshops are designed to raise awareness amongst children about their rights and responsibilities; empowering children with information that will enable them to identify human right violations; to popularize the SAHRC Child Friendly Complaints Handling Procedures (CFCHP); to create awareness on the functioning of the Constitution and the law; and to capacitate learners in order to participate in the KZN Provincial Oral Rounds of the National Schools Moot Court Competition (NSMCC).
