Media Statement: SAHRC Met with Eben Etzebeth and Legal Team, Agrees to Co-operate with Investigation

ATTENTION: Editors and Reporters

The South African Human Rights Commission (the SAHRC or Commission) met with Eben Etzebeth and his legal team, on Thursday, 29 August 2019, following the complaint and allegations against the rugby player.

The Commission acknowledges Mr Etzebeth’s commitment to co-operate with the SAHRC’s investigation, which will follow the Commission’s Complaints Handling Procedure.
