Commissioner Mohamed Shafie Ameermia responsible for the focal area on the right to housing, water, sanitation and business and human rights at the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC/Commission), is conducting a two day provincial visit from 11 – 12 November, 2019 in the KwaZulu- Natal Province.

Commissioner Mohamed Shafie Ameermia responsible for the focal area on the right to housing, water, sanitation and business and human rights at the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC/Commission), is conducting a two day provincial visit from 11 – 12 November, 2019 in the KwaZulu- Natal Province.
The provincial visit is aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Commission and various stakeholders in the Province, particularly, selected Provincial government departments and civil society stakeholders in the Province, with a view to seeking solutions to address ongoing human rights violations on the rights of access to water, sanitation and housing for residents of the KwaZulu Natal Province.
