Media Advisory: Political leaders called to answer for their role in the Alexandra Renewal Project (ARP)

Attention: Editors and Reporters

The South African Human Rights Commission (the Commission) and Office of the Public Protector will receive oral statements from individuals who previously held positions of oversight in relation to the Alexandra Renewal Project (ARP).
The Commission and the Office of the Public Protector invites the media to attend the sessions on the following days:
•    18 November 2019 : Mr Mbhazima Shilowa
•    19 November 2019: Mr Paul Mashatile
•    21 November 2019:  Ms Nomvula Makonyane
•    22 November 2019:  Mr Parks Tau, Mr Amos Masondo and Mr Trevor Fowler.

The inquiry will take place as follows:
