The SAHRC Chairperson Commissioner Majola will visit the Western Cape Province from the 10th to 14th of February 2020 to address human rights challenges including issues relating to the access to healthcare.

The SAHRC Chairperson Commissioner Majola will visit the Western Cape Province from the 10th to 14th of February 2020 to address human rights challenges including issues relating to the access to healthcare.
The Chairperson endeavor to visit public hospitals including Groote Schuur, Tygerberg, Redcross Hangberg, Khayelitsha and Kraaifontein hospitals , and have secured meetings with the Department of Heath to address complaints and potential human rights violations within the Province.
The visit further aims to strengthen cooperation between the SAHRC with the Department of Health involved in the realisation of access to health rights within the province.
