Media Invite: SAHRC Mpumalanga Office hosts an information session on the rights of the LGBTIQ+ persons

The Mpumalanga Provincial Office (MPO) in collaboration with the Nkomazi LGBTIQ+, Department of Justice and Constitutional Development and Nkomazi Local Municipality will host an information session to educate students about human rights and the rights of the Lesbians Gays Bisexuals Transgender Intersexual Queer+ (LGBTIQ+) persons.

The information session is intended to equip students with information on human rights enshrined in the Constitution with the main focus on the right to equality of the LGBTIQ+ persons. Furthermore, to raise awareness about the role and mandate of the Commission.
