Media Invite: SAHRC Western Cape Provincial Office host a dialogue on Gender based violence to commemorate International Women’s Day

The Western Cape provincial office working in collaboration with Sizakuyenza Centre for Women and CESVI to host a dialogue on gender based violence.

The scourge of domestic violence and violence against women and children at the hands of strangers has prompted the provincial office to also be part of the solution regarding violence against women in the province. Some of the outcomes of this dialogue will include amongst others increasing the visibility of the provincial office of the Commission, restoring the dignity of abused women and children and helping them to access justice where possible.

The dialogue is planned as follows:

Venue : Khanyisa Centre, Phillipi (Next to the Court)
Time: 10h00 to 14h00
