Media Invite: Limpopo Provincial Office to host a dialogue on tribalism and cultural diversity to launch Human Rights Month in Limpopo

Attention: Editors and Reporters

27 February 2020

The Limpopo provincial office will be hosting a Human Rights Dialogue on tribalism and diversity in Polokwane, on 03 March 2020, at Park inn Hotel.

The dialogue aims to engage with Limpopo community members and stakeholders in unpacking the impact of discrimination or animosity based upon cultural and/or ethnic group differences. The SAHRC is concerned regarding the scourge of complaints it has received relating to cultural and ethnic intolerances within the Province and views this dialogue as vital to facilitate discussions on the nature of these occurrences, and how to address them systemically.
