Media Advisory: SAHRC Launches the State of Human Rights Report (ONLINE)

19 March 2020

Attention: Editors and Reporters

The South African Human Rights Commission (the Commission) will be launching the Gauteng State of Human Rights Report (online).
The report provides a critical assessment of the state of human rights in the province of Gauteng where the cost of living continues to increase as incomes, social services and work opportunities have stagnated and even declined. The report will interrogate policy efforts by the province to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 2030) principle of leaving no one behind and National Development Plan 2030 (NDP 2030) objective of building a capable state.

Date: 20 March 2020
Online (SAHRC website) and Social Media (Twitter and Facebook)
