Media Invite: SAHRC Mpumalanga Provincial Office hosts a workshop on Equality Rights

The South African Human Rights Commission (“the Commission”), Mpumalanga Provincial Office will be conducting a workshop on the right to equality under the theme: “Fighting Gender Inequality.” Gender inequality is rooted in gender-based discrimination, social norms and gender stereotypes.

The aim of the workshop is to empower both women and men about the equality rights as well as promotion of gender equality. Further, to raise awareness about the role and mandate of the Commission as well as to register complaints relating to their human rights violations.
