Media Advisory: Change in venue for hearing, SAHRC to convene inquiry into alleged prohibition of the use of languages at Stellenbosch University

Attention: Editors and Reporters

As previously advised the South African Human Rights Commission (“the Commission” or “SAHRC”) will convene its inquiry into the allegations of prohibition of use of languages at Stellenbosch University (“SU”). This will however no longer occur at its Western Cape provincial office in Cape Town.
Instead the inquiry will be conducted at the following venue:

Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS)
Marais Road,
Mostertsdrift,
