The SAHRC Limpopo Provincial Office (LPO) conducted a three-day provincial hearing into bullying, corporal punishment and sexual relationships between educators and learners in the Limpopo Province, from the 18th to 20th of May 2021.

The SAHRC Limpopo Provincial Office (LPO) conducted a three-day provincial hearing into bullying, corporal punishment and sexual relationships between educators and learners in the Limpopo Province, from the 18th to 20th of May 2021.
The aim of the provincial hearing was to enquire into whether the Limpopo Department of Education and other role-players are adequately (in the context of the existing legislative and policy work) addressing bullying and corporal punishment as well as sexual relationships between learners and teachers in schools within the Limpopo Province.
In light of the above, and the conclusion of the said hearing, media houses are invited to a media briefing as follows:
