Media Advisory: SAHRC Limpopo Provincial Office conducts a Community Human Rights Champions Provincial Training

The SAHRC Limpopo Provincial Office (LPO) will be conducting a three-day training for human rights champions in the province from the 28th to 30th of September 2021.

The aim is to empower the human rights champions about the Mandate of the Commission in relation to their roles.  

The human rights champions are persons identified by the Commission to be empowered with skills that will enable them to work with the Commission on the ground to assist communities and refer cases and complaints relating to alleged human rights violation.

The training will also serve to popularise the functionality of the Equality Courts by simplifying the Equality Act and the Equality Toolkit. It will take place as follows:

                    Date: 28; 29 & 30 September 2021

                    Time: 08h00 - 16h30 daily

                    Venue: TIVEKA LODGE
