In commemoration of Human Rights Month in March, the South African Human Rights Commission will be conducting a human rights outreach initiative in three schools in Gauteng. The outreach aims to capacitate learners on their human rights and responsibilities, the significance of Human Rights Day, and highlight the role that young people have played (and continue to play) in shaping the political and economic landscape of the country.

The human rights outreach will take place on 09 March 2022 at the following schools:
• Tholimfundo Primary School
• Ekurhuleni School of the Deaf and
• Winterveld Secondary School
