The South African Human Rights Commission (“the Commission”) will be conducting Social Harmony National Effort (SHiNE) support campaign aimed at promoting social cohesion, harmony, tolerance and respect for human rights across South Africa. It also aims at improving human relations and interactions across every spectrum in the society.
The campaign will strengthen the Commission’s efforts of ensuring the promotion and protection of socio-economic rights as enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa. The campaign is targeting community-based, non-profit and civil society organizations whom it’s believed they shall be able to cascade the information to their constituencies.
The campaign is scheduled to take place as follows:
