    Media Advisory: SAHRC in Free State together with Legal Aid-South Africa will conduct legal clinics in the Letsemeng Local Municipality

    Attention: Editors and Reporters

    Then South African Human Rights Commission (the SAHRC) in Free State together with Legal Aid South Africa will be embarking on the legal clinics across Letsemeng Local Municipality, in Xhariep district between 21 – 25 August 2023. The purpose of these clinics among others, is to educate citizens about their rights as enshrined in chapter two of the Constitution.

    Furthermore, the clinics are also intended to afford residents an opportunity to seek advice and lodge complaints with the SAHRC in matters that affect their fundamental rights. The Commission will thus visit the following towns:

     

    1. 21 August 2023 : Petrusburg
    2. 22 August 2023 : Jacobsdal
    3. 23 August 2023: Wanda and Oppermansgrond
    4. 24 August 2023 : Luckhoff
    5. 25 August 2023: Koffiefontein
