    Media Advisory: SAHRC Free State Provincial Office will hold Provincial round of Schools Moot Court Competition

    The provincial oral rounds of the School Moot Court competition will be hosted by the South African Human Rights Commission in collaboration with the Free State Education Department, the University of the Free State, and the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development.

    The National Schools Moot Court occurrence is an annual event designed to improve secondary school learners' Constitutional literacy. Learners are given the opportunity to study more about the Constitution and to construct legal arguments using case studies and applicable laws. Furthermore, the oral rounds offer a forum for evaluating the participating schools to identify a provincial team to represent the Free State at the national finals in Gauteng later this year.
