Media Advisory: SAHRC Commissioner Nissen to lead an engagement on Human Rights and Social Cohesion

In an effort to address pressing issues related to human rights and social cohesion, the South African Human Rights Commission (the Commission) in the Northern Cape Province will be conducting a stakeholder engagement that will bring together diverse stakeholders, thought leaders, community representatives, and activists. This initiative seeks to create a platform for robust discussions and collaborative strategies, promoting the principles of human rights and strengthening social bonds within our community.

The stakeholder engagement underscores the Commission’s commitment to creating a more inclusive and cohesive society. By bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders, the Commission aim to identify shared goals and collaborate on initiatives that uphold human rights, promote social cohesion, and address the challenges faced by our community.

The engagement is scheduled to take place as follows:
