The South African Human Rights Commission (the Commission) KwaZulu Natal Provincial Office will conduct a capacity-building workshop for Human Rights Champions with the South African Women Lawyers Association (SAWLA) Student Chapter, Durban Campus.

The key objectives of the workshop is to promote a culture of human rights; to develop a better understanding of human rights and strengthen the realisation of human rights; enable participants to assist in identifying human rights violations within communities; enable participants to refer complaints to the Commission; to popularise the Commissions Equality Toolkit; to enable participants to further conduct human rights and constitutional awareness; enhance sustainable working relationships; and to establish and recognise participants as Human Rights Champions.

The workshop will take place as follows:
