The North West Provincial Office (NWPO) of the South African Human Rights Commission will convene subpoena proceedings against the Acting HOD for the North West Department of Education, Provincial Commissioner of SAPS and Principal of Orbit College, following their failure to respond to correspondences addressed to them in connection with various complaints currently being investigated by the NWPO.

The subpoena proceedings will be conducted as follows:

  • Proceedings against the Acting HOD for the North West Department of Education
    • Date: 23 January 2024
    • Time: 09:00
    • Venue: NWPO, 25 Heystek Street, Rustenburg

 

  • Proceedings against the Principal of Orbit College
    • Date: 23 January 2024
    • Time: 13h:30
    • Venue: NWPO, 25 Heystek Street, Rustenburg

 

  • Proceedings against the Provincial Commissioner of SAPS
    • Date: 24 January 2024
    • Time: 09:00
    • Venue: NWPO, 25 Heystek Street, Rustenburg
