Media Advisory: The South African Human Rights Commission, Limpopo Provincial Office to meet with various stakeholders to address racial tension in the Groblersdal area.

The SAHRC Limpopo Provincial Office (LPO) convenes a meeting with different stakeholders around Groblersdal to understand the challenges that may be causing racial tension in the area.  The meeting aims to ignite strategies that may be employed to address the racial tension.

The above comes after the SAHRC noted with concern racial tensions observed at Groblersdal in the past few weeks and the increasing number of incidents allegedly motivated by racial divisions in the area.

The meeting is scheduled as follows:

Venue          : Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality, Boardroom.

Dates           : 20 February 2024

Time            : 10h00
