The South African Human Rights Commission in Gauteng is scheduled to convene a meeting with the Executive Mayor and municipal manager of Mogale City Local Municipality on 26 April 2024.

The primary objective of this engagement is to tackle the array of complaints filed with the Commission, encompassing issues that fall within the municipality’s purview. Key topics on the agenda include the implementation of water restrictions in the area and the escalating homelessness crisis in Krugersdorp.
