Media Invite: SAHRC Mpumalanga Provincial Office to conduct community outreach engagements to promote human rights

The South African Human Rights Commission (“the Commission”) will be conducting community outreach in the form of a roadshow and information sessions. The engagements will be held in different areas in all the three districts of the province. These engagements are meant to promote human rights as enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996.  

The purpose of the engagements is to enhance human rights awareness and increase the visibility of the Commission. The engagements will also serve as a platform for communities to lodge human rights violation complaints and raise their service delivery challenges with the Commission as the country gears up for the upcoming national and provincial elections on 29 May.
