The Gauteng Provincial Office of the South African Human Rights Commission will conduct a children’s rights workshop for the Qoqa Community Project based in Sebokeng.

The Qoqa Community Project is a community-based organisation that offers meals and after school programmes for children in the Evaton area. The children’s rights workshop will focus on capacitating children and the youth on their rights and the responsibilities that accompany these rights. Through the interactive workshops about children’s rights and responsibilities, the Gauteng Provincial Office intends to familiarize young people with information on how human rights should be protected and how knowing of their rights can help identify human rights violations in their respective communities.
