Media Alert: The SAHRC Limpopo Provincial Office to conduct a Stakeholder Engagement in Musina, Limpopo.

The South African Human Rights Commission’s (SAHRC) Limpopo Provincial Office (LPO) will conduct a Stakeholder Engagement in Musina, Limpopo.

The engagement aims to strengthen relations with stakeholders, educate the community about their rights and enlightened hem on how to complete the complaint forms. In addition, the SAHRC will introduce the local human rights champions from Musina Legal Advice Office. Human champions are community-based individuals who have been capacitated by the SAHRC to assist their communities with addressing human rights related issues. The empowerment of champions is achieved through various interventions such as, training workshops, information sessions and practical monitoring exercises.

The LPO finds it necessary to conduct the engagement to assist the community to assert their human rights as enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996. 

The Stakeholder Engagement is scheduled as follows:
