The South African Human Rights Commission’s (SAHRC) North West Provincial Office will host a joint stakeholder engagement with the South African Police Service, the Department of Correctional Services and the Department of Public Works.

The purpose of the engagement is to discuss the findings from SAHRC monitoring reports, regarding infrastructure challenges and the associated human rights implications. In addition, identify actionable solutions that can enhance operational efficiency and service delivery in these facilities and establish a framework for implementing the necessary infrastructure improvements.

The Joint stakeholder’s engagement is scheduled to take place as follows:
