The engagement will include discussions on the following key issues:
- The current operational status and challenges faced by the Northern Cape Mental Health Hospital.
- Measures to improve healthcare services across the Northern Cape Province.
- The role of the Commission in promoting, protecting and monitoring the right to access healthcare services.
Following the engagement, the Commission and the MEC of Health will address the media in a briefing session. Members of the media are invited to attend the briefing, where they will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with both the Commission and the MEC.
