The South African Human Rights Commission’s (the Commission) Northern Cape 27 September 2024Provincial Office (NCPO), will be conducting a community outreach with the Maremane Communal Property Association (CPA), as it recognises the importance of maintaining strong connections with local communities to fulfil its mandate.

The community outreach is scheduled to take place as follows:

  • Date : Wednesday, 25 September 2024
  • Time : 10:00 AM to 13:00 PM
  • Venue : Namakwari Lodge (1 Frikkie Meyer Road), Kathu

The community outreach is aimed at:

  • Creating awareness about the work of the Commission.
  • Enhancing the Commission’s visibility and reach within communities.
  • Building knowledge and understanding of human rights.
  • Empowering individuals and communities to assert their rights.
  • Inspiring and motivating individuals and communities to take action.
  • Build capacity for individuals and communities to promote and protect human rights.

The media is invited to attend the community outreach and report on the discussions.
