ATTENTION: Editors and Reporters
The South African Human Rights Commission will conduct a workshop focusing on the rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgendered, Intersexed and Queer persons (LGBTIQ) learners to foster a human rights culture in schools and society.
The purpose of the workshop is to raise awareness on the challenges that LGBTIQ learners face in schools and to further assist in addressing related challenges through a human rights-based approach.
The workshop is scheduled as follows:
