Minister Malusi Gigaba Meets With SAHRC, LGBTI Representatives to Discuss U.S. Pastor's Visit to SA

The Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba, will on Monday, 18 July 2016, meet with the Chairperson of the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC),
Advocate Lawrence Mushwana and representatives of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) community to discuss a petition sent to the Minister calling on him to deny access into the country to American pastor, Steven L Anderson.

The petition states that Mr Anderson is "a well-known hater of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people and his hate speech towards this community is well documented".
